Tuition Information: Tuition varies by degree and program. For the 2010 – 2011 school year, A. A. program tuition ranged from $22,650 for a nine-month course of study to $31,475 for a 12-month course of study.

Scope of Program:
The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) offers a wide array of Associate of Arts degree programs in fashion design and related specialty fields. The Los Angeles campus is known not only for its design programs but also for its involvement with Lifetime Network's reality series, Project Runway. Season 6 was filmed at FIDM Los Angeles. FIDM's annual DEBUT Runway Show, presented by graduating students, is a three-day gala event.

More majors are available at the flagship Los Angeles school than at any other FIDM campus. The length of time you will be in school each year varies by major. You can complete some degree programs in nine intense months and others in one full year. FIDM's network of industry partners provides students with a wide array of internship possibilities, from sports teams to film projects. Study tour and study abroad opportunities include New York City and Europe. Aspiring students must complete an entrance project as part of the application process.
